I recently had the pleasure of dining at broadwalk social and I must say, the experience was greatly enhanced by our server, Tika. From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm that made us feel right at home. Tika was attentive without being intrusive, always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she made excellent recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Each dish we ordered was not only delicious but beautifully presented, thanks in part to her insightful suggestions. What truly stood out was Tika’s friendly demeanor and her ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. She took the time to engage in conversation, making the dining experience feel personal and memorable. It’s clear that she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about her customers. Overall, our evening at broadwalk social was delightful, and Tina played a significant role in that. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you have the chance to be served by Tika. She is a true gem!

For a fairly big hotel, this place was exceptionally great! Love the location, Love their pools, love the bar and restaurant area that all opens up onto the streets. Like a resort feel but not hectic at all. Many amenities near by.

Exceptionally great value. The rooms where very nice. Service was impeccable and the hospitality was good. My family loved the experience and was treated very well. They really know how to make their guest feel very special. Would definitely recommend. And recommend to visitors coming to Cairns. tourist on vacation.

I recently came in for breakfast and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was beautifully presented and delicious, and the service truly elevated the entire morning. I’d especially like to acknowledge Jess, Kimmy, and Yoko, who went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Jess was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly while making guests feel genuinely cared for. Kimmy’s friendliness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and Yoko brought such calm efficiency and grace to the service — it was clear they all take great pride in what they do. The team worked seamlessly together, creating a relaxed yet polished dining experience that felt truly five-star. It’s rare to see such consistency in service, and it made a real difference to the start of my day. I would highly recommend breakfast here and will absolutely be returning. A big thank you to the team for such a wonderful experience.

Excellent service!!!! I came to the bar only for one beer with my friend and we left 3 hours later. The welcome from the manager Yan was so nice ! He really took care of us, he was smiling and really friendly with us ! The bartender Hugo knows his job ! He made us the best cocktails in cairns ! He has imagination and he also smiled during the all time we were there. We spend a really good time thank you guys for your amazing service ! It was the last night of my friend and they made it so nice ! I’ll come back with other friends !

The location is great, right next to the night market. The room was clean and tidy, though a bit small. It was quiet, but the air conditioner was a bit too loud. The room was very dry, which made my rhinitis quite uncomfortable. I hope there were more pillow options—the ones provided were too high, and we didn't sleep very well. During checkout, we met CC. She was incredibly sweet and talkative, and we had a very pleasant conversation. During this time, I just found I was missing my key chain, and she was extremely helpful and patient in assisting me. She was genuinely kind, and we thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Thanks for all Crystalbrook Flynn’s staff.

This is the real deal: sleek design, great vibe, everything feels effortlessly high-end without trying too hard. 🛏️ Rooms: Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful rooms, well-equipped, quiet, and just super comfortable. And the bed… honestly, one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. This isn’t a bed — it’s a horizontal wellness experience. I didn’t sleep, I powered down in luxury. 📍 Location: Perfect location. You walk out and you’re instantly in the middle of everything: city, waterfront, restaurants — all right there. Cairns delivers the holiday, and this hotel delivers the upgrade. 🙋‍♂️ Service / Staff: Now let’s talk about the staff: extremely service-oriented in the best way possible. So friendly and proactive that you start wondering if they’re secretly trained in “Customer Happiness Wizardry.” Whatever I needed, they handled it quickly and professionally. Five-star service, genuinely. 🌧️ Small downside (wet season reality): During the wet season, the rooms can develop a musty smell. Important note: this has nothing to do with hygiene or cleanliness — it’s simply the tropical weather and humidity doing what it does. And the hotel? They truly did everything possible to make my stay comfortable despite this. Full effort. Full care. ✈️ Flexibility / Cancellation: In the end, I had to leave earlier than planned — and here’s where the Flynn absolutely nailed it: Canceling the remaining nights was completely hassle-free. No drama, no endless back-and-forth, no “terms and conditions” lecture. Hotel right by the Cairns Esplanade and Night Market. The area was super walkable with alot of dining options and Cairns Central Mall within 15 minutes walk of the hotel along with Woolworths. Our balcony room had a fantastic view and we really enjoyed sitting there in the morning with coffee and in the evenings with a glass of wine. The pool area of the hotel was also very pleasant and we were able to use the gym on one of the days that it rained. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

I recently treated myself to a two night birthday stay at this hotel, and it turned out to be such a lovely experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. I especially want to give a heartfelt shoutout to the receptionist, CC. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about her work. As a sweet birthday surprise, she even gave me a complimentary drink card, which made my stay feel extra special and thoughtful. The room was spotless, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Everything felt clean, calm, and well cared for. I felt relaxed and happy throughout my stay. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience and truly appreciated the attentive service and welcoming atmosphere. It was the perfect birthday treat.
